Midwest based Designer and Social Media Consultant, DoBea Alberts, has been creating since a young age. Though her mediums are ever evolving, getting her hands dirty (and everything else around her) has always been a favorite.

Where the magic happens
Her passion for Surface Pattern Design and painting really came to fruition during the pandemic. With a career making wedding invitations and weddings being cancelled or postponed, she had to fill her time with something else artistic. She started following some really great artists and designers who made a point of sharing their own skills which then helped developed her own.
Her days are spent either sketching and using watercolors for her Surface Pattern Designs or throwing paint onto paper. And if you can’t find her in one of those two places she’s probably either taking photos outside or enjoying a vacation at Disney World.
Her style generally involves simple sketches and limited palettes with some super clean lines thrown in there to mix things up. Florals and nature are her muses and the world is her oyster.
